Her QAnon parents say she's brainwashed. Listen to her plea (CNN)

This woman says her parents are becoming unrecognizable as they follow QAnon religiously. Listen as she reads a letter to a therapist about what it’s like to be seen as an “idiot” by her own family for rejecting the conspiracy theory.

and a savior on earth who is betrayed, killed and rises, it kind of follows....that they look for a contemporary version of those authoritarian leaders here.

So the Pig is rich, famous, powerful, gets elected, going to save America, then he gets betrayed and overthrown. To their minds what else could Trump be but semi divine.

Match made in heaven for the gullible and stupid.

He validates them and their prejudices. By declaring him a messenger from "God" they get the to say and act as they wish, even when such things contradict scripture. "God" is perfect, therefore his messenger must be perfect, therefore everything said by the messenger must be true.

4. I suppose you can find some Biblical references to Jesus

being anti establishment. For instance there's the money changer incident where he made a mess of the temple to kick out the 'establishment'.

But like all things Biblical you can also find a counter point like 'render unto Caesar what is Caesar's' . . .

it to fit an agenda.

I would imagine that the number of people who have read the Bible is not very long. And it’s little wonder why: so much of it is genealogy and nonsense.

and you really don't have to do much twisting. The book is self-contradicting, and has been translated so many times that manipulating the meaning is child's play.

5. It has really turned into a cult
Tue Mar 16, 2021, 12:00 PM

but instead of going out into the boonies to create their own sick society, they're doing it online.

Look at any cult out there, the central figure is usually reprehensible, evil even if everybody started out with the best intentions, something that is certainly not true of either Q droppers (Russia? Iran? N. Korea? Some bored nerd who wants to see the US burn?) or their piggish fake messiah.

Smacking them upside the head with Revalations isn't going to help much, "false prophets in latter days" and all The whole campaign has been too sophisticated, one nugget of disinformation at a time, while they feverishly put all the wonky jigsaw pieces together into a nightmarish whole.

They're sucking women and mothers in through things like recipes and crafts and then hitting them with the pedophilia stuff. They're sucking men in through gun fantasy. Pretty soon, that nice scrapbooker or hunter is sucked in so deep you think they'll never get out, which is why we saw so many families turning them in after the Jan 6 riot. Even that isn't waking some of them up.

I sincerely hope the Biden administration is taking this stuff seriously, to the point of jailing anyone who is putting this stuff out there.

I'm all for allowing hate speech without fear of prison, it lets us see who the assholes are so we can avoid them.

A slick and sophisticated mind control program, especially one that is tracked offshore, is a threat to national security, and that's what this stuff really is. If it's tracked to the bored nerd who wants to see us burn (unlikely), said nerd will face some interesting charges that have nothing to do with free speech.

Zuckerberg is part of the problem, he refuses to tweak his algorithm to filter out any of this stuff. His fun and friendly service has been exploited for political gain and has turned into a monster.

Desperate people that forsake their own kids, families, friends, neighbors, and anyone that questions their complete and total devotion to whatever they have fallen for. The answer is to stop exposing them to whatever is dragging them down the rabbit hole. Once away from the influence of the lies and deceit, they generally return to some kind of normal.

18. This girl has lost her parents to a cult.

It's devastating for her. She either has to drink the Kool-aid and surrender to their insanity, or walk away to maintain her own.

There will never be a middle ground here...no place for a parent and child reunion.
Her parent are committed to a lifetime of conspiracy theories that leave no room for rational thought. If it isn't Q, it will be what ever comes after it.

I find it both horrifying and hilarious that the "Q continuum" believes Trump to be sent by God; perhaps even a reincarnation of Jesus.
The darkness they have surrounded themselves in prevents them from seeing the true nature of their "savior".
Satan Trump will always have a loyal base of mindless minions, like this girl's parents, to do his work.
