The Problem With Normalizing Stephen Miller - All In - MSNBC

"Stephen Miller does not deserve to be normalized. Some would say he deserves to be prosecuted. At the very minimum, he deserves to be shunned," says Mehdi Hasan on the media allowing Miller to play pundit. Aired on 03/29/2021.

Miller should be prosecuted for 'crimes against humanity' for his role in immigration policies that were cruel and inhumane.

to “Firing Squad,” and I’m with you.

Since the day or so after inauguration when this doofus went on the air to demand unquestioned loyalty to the actions of The Trump, the echoes of Hitler’s Party could be heard in his every public announcement, and Nazi hatred could be seen in his raging hatred of immigrants from Latin America and the horrible things he caused to be done to them.

I hope not to see his smirky, evil face on any of the TV networks I frequent, unless it is when he’s being offered a last cigaret and a blindfold.

He would never have come close to being "normalized," his views are so heinous and extreme, if it weren't for Trump. Trump couldn't be bothered, he was too busy with "rallies" and golf, so he left policy to this demented psychopath.

13. For sure. I believe Miller's role was/is advising and manipulating Trump

on how to get what Trump wants. As you say, Miller was behind a lot of policy decisions, but Trump is famously a micromanager of what interests him. And being a vicious, feared dictator interests him greatly.

Having another of those moments of disbelief that these people could be where they were, and are.

14. That's certainly true yet I'm sure that Miller enjoyed adding his own cruelty

But you're right, Trump had no knowledge of or interest in anything related to government, since it didn't relate to him personally - his sister did his homework. They each found the perfect partner, Miller found a way to spread his message of cruelty and hate and Trump didn't have to expend the energy or do any of the work. And yet there are those who were targets of these monsters who voted for "them" and still support them.

Don’t let anyone think anything different. He speaks and his people sit up at attention. I want my people to do the same.”

Trump on Fox after his visit to North Korea.

Trump likes to hurt people, and is obsessively vindictive toward those who offend him, to prove his own power to himself, but so far he hasn't been able to be open about it to prove it to the whole nation. Including, as you say, those who voted for him, the second time to give him a better chance to hurt them more.

I now believe a big reason he had no interest in how our government functions is that he always wanted to run it very differently. From the beginning. Kim's people are terrified of their government, but I'm guessing Trump would settle for most of his people living in constant, low-grade fear, as most Russians do of their authorities. Except for those targeted for persecution and worse to keep his "red in tooth and claw base" fed, of course.

And as we know he'd have no trouble finding monsters to make it happen for him. Don't care to even guess at what Miller's fantasies have been.

He is THAT creepy.*shudder*

I'm going to take a look at that book. Reading about him and his skeevy activities may make my skin crawl, but it sounds like I might learn some stuff from it.

10. I couldn't agree more, he's not only creepy, but has to be the most extreme of the Trump acolytes

And since Trump really blew off most of the job (except campaign rallies), Miller was responsible for setting policy since Trump couldn't be bothered, which has to be the most disturbing of all.
