I have no idea what's driving Kudlow's claim, but some beers are not entirely plant-based.

Larry Kudlow claimed on Fox News that under President Joe Biden’s new climate plan grilled Brussels sprouts would replace hamburgers at the 4th of July.

Said Kudlow: “Ok, got that? No burger on July 4. No steaks on the barbecue. I’m sure Middle America is just going to love that. Can you grill those Brussels sprouts? So get ready. You can throw back a plant-based beer with your grilled Brussels sprouts and wave your American flag. Call it July 4th Green.”

His implication is that plant-based beer is a new thing being enforced upon Americans by Joe Biden or the Green New Deal or what have you, when in fact all beer is already plant-based. (It's not about whether beer is entirely vegan or not.)

Plant-based beer is also not a thing that the brewery or the writer of that article invented. It's in the headline, but nowhere else.

IOW, it's not a thing.

The article was about a brewery replacing a fining agent (a tiny component of the beer-brewing process) in order to make its beer vegan.

Boston Set to Open Fully Plant-Based Beer Hall For Delivery

The confusion here is that some people think that there's a gap between "plant-based" and "vegan" - while others (including many vegans) consider the terms to be synonymous. But it isn't a new term.

1) I cannot decide if Kudlow, Mnuchin, or Carlson has the most imminently punchable face in the world...
2) Anyone listening to that soak Kudlow deserves to be fleeced of their money and self-respect simultaneously.
