Schumer, McConnell Clash Over Voting Rights Bill In Senate - NBC News



Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., clashed at a Senate Rules Committee meeting to consider the "For The People" voting rights bill. Schumer said that Democrats were making the bill a priority after certain states passed restrictive voting laws, while McConnell called it a "partisan effort."
