Anyway, Romney's insistence on insulting people this way was right up there with Bain this week in terms of damage done. Even Matt Lauer, of all people, was appalled by it when he interviewed him on Wednesday following NH. He basically asked Romney if it's really about envy when people question him about Bain, giving him a chance to soften the message, but Mitt, bless his dark little heart, doubled down.
