(110,913 posts)and always have. Getting Dumdum, himself, is going to be a lot tougher. There has to be massive tax fraud and it has to be easily proven to people who don't know the ins and outs of financial sleazebag tax law.
I hope it can be done. The IRS has done what the FBI and other agencies couldn't manage to do, put mobsters and hangers on into prison after underlings have kept the Big Guy's hands clean for years.

(203,010 posts)The NY Times even did a record-long article on it at the start of Trump's presidency. Fred Trump did everything possible to avoid taxes - including on the millions he lent his often bankrupt middle son which ended up being "gifts." And all the remaining Trump siblings inherited their Dad's dislike of paying taxes. There has to be a treasure trove of illegalities if they know where to look...

Now she might have landed the offspring in hot water if they didn't claim those generous gifts as income, or those loans when they were forgiven.
If weisselberg sings, they'll get Dumdum. My guess is that he won't, professional pride and the rationalization that prison will save his own children the cost of a nursing home will interfere.
