Trump Org. Witness: I'm Facing Threats Over My 'Beat' Interview - The Beat - MSNBC

After speaking to MSNBC's Chief Legal Correspondent Ari Melber about the ongoing criminal probe into the Trump Organization, Jennifer Weisselberg – Trump Org CFO Allen Weisselberg's former daughter-in-law – says she is facing retaliation. Jennifer Weisselberg says the Trump Org CFO is behind a push to evict her from her apartment, claiming that it is retribution for speaking out. Melber is joined by former federal prosecutor Daniel Alonso, former SDNY prosecutor Nick Akerman, and The New York Times's Emily Bazelon to discuss how this could affect the ongoing probe and what this move signals about the Trump camp's mindset. Aired on 05/27/2021.

I hope she has and can afford good legal counsel, and she will listen to good legal advice.

and always have. Getting Dumdum, himself, is going to be a lot tougher. There has to be massive tax fraud and it has to be easily proven to people who don't know the ins and outs of financial sleazebag tax law.

I hope it can be done. The IRS has done what the FBI and other agencies couldn't manage to do, put mobsters and hangers on into prison after underlings have kept the Big Guy's hands clean for years.

The NY Times even did a record-long article on it at the start of Trump's presidency. Fred Trump did everything possible to avoid taxes - including on the millions he lent his often bankrupt middle son which ended up being "gifts." And all the remaining Trump siblings inherited their Dad's dislike of paying taxes. There has to be a treasure trove of illegalities if they know where to look...

because they were estranged over the fast one he pulled over Fred Sr.'s will.

Now she might have landed the offspring in hot water if they didn't claim those generous gifts as income, or those loans when they were forgiven.

If weisselberg sings, they'll get Dumdum. My guess is that he won't, professional pride and the rationalization that prison will save his own children the cost of a nursing home will interfere.
