She was extremely impressive and think she'd be ideal to take down Rubio - which, as you said, would be a huge bonus.

I can't believe Marco is very strong other than the plus of being the incumbent but FL is such a weird state. I never would have thought the Dems would lose House seats in 2020 there after Trump but it happened anyway!

The initial rumors were that she was going to run for governor - and she was on Biden's "short list" for VP. Like you said, Florida is a weird state, Rubio voted against stimulus checks, Covid relief for schools and businesses and against helping front line workers, so there is that. And, as a long time police chief (as was her husband), she's very pro law enforcement. But we know how the Republicans are, Rubio has already attacked her for being "a socialist." And the Republicans have taken credit for the Biden initiatives that have helped so many Americans - even though they voted against them.
