What did she think she was accomplishing? Like she was going to continue working there even if they say she was fired.

Such a silly thing. Now that incident is going in her file, which will make it even harder to get another job, on top of the fact that she, a healthcare worker, refused to get vaccinated. A no-brainer as a healthcare worker.

I mean you can refuse to leave, but eventually everyone else will go to their jobs and she won't be getting a paycheck. There won't be enough Gofundme accounts to support everyone who moans and cries about their freedom to infect other people. Who the hell wants to go to a health care center where there are unvaccinated people?

The trouble with people who won't get vaccinated is you can't trust them. If they would wear their mask all the time they are indoors with you, it would be okay, but they refuse or it slips or they wear it wrong and even in well vaxed Maryland cases are increasing. And sometimes they out and out lie and say they're vaxed when they're not.

"Childish" in this case includes spite, self-entitlement, inability to have empathy for others, unwillingness to share...

I swear some of these people don't seem to have crossed the object permanence threshold. That's the point where a child realizes that just because his or her eyes are closed doesn't mean the world disappears or that others can't see them.

They truly seem to believe that if they believe something and just insist on having their own way, mommy and daddy will let them stay up past their bed time and eat all the ice cream they want. And if not, they'll just kick and scream and hold their breath and everything will go their way.

The sad part is is that for some of them they're right. If you're rich enough, white enough, and corrupt enough our system will contort itself into a pretzel to allow you to have your way. And at this point the pretzel has done so many twists and turns on behalf of the white wealthy class it's on the verge of breaking apart entirely.

Which has been and will mean trauma and death for so many innocent people. Just so she and others like her quite literally refuse to take their medicine.
