Republicans Seeking To Discredit Wisconsin Elections Off To A Bumbling Start - Rachel Maddow - MSNBC

Rachel Maddow shares some of the stumbles and outright absurdities of a fledgling effort by Wisconsin Republicans to discredit the state's ability to hold elections by pretending to conduct a serious assessment of President Biden's 2020 defeat of Donald Trump. Aired on 10/08/2021.

What the consequences are for interfering with a legal election in this country, but I suggest they make sure to include 'casting doubt or aspersions with no credible proof' in the wording and stiffen the penalty for it. Also lay out a timetable for this credible proof to be presented, or the accusations are invalid. Then, as these charlatans make their accusations, they can understand that making them without a shred of evidence or following the procedures laid out in the law is an attack on our very democratic process and therefore an attack on our democracy. In other words... Treason. THEN, lets see how eager they are to do this stupid crap.

..... he was preceded in that office by Sean Duffy and J.B. Van Hollen all three are republican "operatives" appointed by republican governors.

Gableman will do what the republican led Wisconsin legislators want. He will try and discredit the Wisconsin elections just as Arizona "republican operatives" have done.

No facts to justify an "audit" just building a case to help republicans in 2022 and 2024 whine about election fraud, voter fraud, and stolen elections.

As a poll worker in a rural Wisconsin town, I know that our elections are fair, transparent, and verifiable. So does our county clerk. So does our Wisconsin Elections Commission.

The only idiots who don't are the very ones spreading the manure of lies about our election, like the partisan hack grifting the Wisconsin taxpayers. He's already admitted he knows nothing about elections.

Elections officials cannot legally turn over election material to unauthorized entities, like this overfed chump.

Waste of taxpayer money!

Not just an egregious waste of taxpayer money, but an attempt to spread distrust in the outcome of elections. As was said, they are preparing for the next election, if the result of any election doesn't turn out in their favor, they'll attempt to overturn it. This has become a precedent that needs to be stopped since, as Bill Maher said, their attempts to contest too many national results at the state level were only stopped by non compliant Republican officials who will no longer be in office for the next election.
