5. i was on a school board for several terms in the late 1980. Back then in a state level meeting....

.... we were warned that there was a national movement afoot to put people on the school boards, city councils, and other elected offices to push political and religious agenda. At the time on my school board, we had anti-sex education extremists telling the public that we were teaching kids how to have sex in the middle school grades and high school grades. That it was common for staff(?) to hand out condoms to anyone who asked for them. Remember this is at a time when the country was concerned about HIV.

Since that time I have seen a steady increase in extremists with agendas getting elected to the office not to improve education but to tear it down. Ban books in the library. Demanding prayers in school. Bible classes as part of the regular curriculum. And now to protest masks in schools as a health and safety issue. And of course, the lie that public schools are teaching Critical Race Theory.

Critical Race Theory is included in college and law school curriculum BUT NOT IS K-12 public school classrooms.
