Republicans know they have an ideology that is “withering on the vine” and is not able to work, with the changing dynamics and diversity of the people, the evolving economy and the needs of people struggling to make a living.

What Senator king is saying about our democracy coming to an end, is the way Republicans can get whatever they want without loyal opposition.

Republicans had already been working on military personnel over the decades. They also have the militias and are working on police support.

Once these largely organized, heavily armed groups fully buy into Republican reason, that elections are all fraudulent. Those laws being enacted to take the popular vote away from the people, and instead give that power to partisan state legislators will become a harsh reality.

When it gets to that tipping point, it’s “game over for our Democratic Republic”.
