2. I've gotten to the point

where I believe the only thing that will save the planet is if we are no longer on it.

I dedicated my entire life as an artist and activist towards finding a better path, one where humanity and Earth could coexist in some kind of relative harmony. I no longer think that that is possible...too much is baked in the cake at this point, both in terms of the damage we have caused and the innate nature of the human animal itself. My sorrow and anger and disappointment are on a level that I never thought I could live with and I have mostly retreated inwards into a life of a contemplative.

All I hope for now is that we don't manage to turn the planet into Venus on our way out.
