*May not apply to hypocritical grifters who pretend to be righteous patriots but are really belly-crawling scumbags who will make more money if more people die of Covid.

(32,633 posts)These invitations were sent out to wealthy people who can afford $125-$500 per person event tickets. It's a top-shelf fundraiser event to raise money for homeless veterans. Meet the Faux Noise stars, get autographs and selfies, etc.
But yeah, it's total hypocrisy when they're telling their regular listeners (the ones who CAN'T AFFORD these tickets) not to get vaccinated and lose their jobs over it.

(19,193 posts)I know people going into deep debt supporting The Orange Pig and these Faux News hucksters. Don't - for one second - think that it's only wealthy people throwing money at these delusional maniacs. Some people are maxxing out their credit cards to "stop the steal", and to be on "President *****'s Patriots Panel" for the low, low price of only $500!
I know the term "top shelf fundraiser" is subjective, but $500 isn't going to get you anything close to the head table at any of these events. You couldn't get a photograph taken with The Orange Pig for less than $100,000 (and I think that figure is even low).
I'd be very interested to know how much of this money actually reaches "homeless vets" as well. After Hannity, Carlson et al. take their cuts for "travel expenses" and The Orange Pig gets a cut of everything, I doubt there will be 25% of the gate remaining for "homeless vets".
