(478 posts)I hope Doctor Obama can cure Mitt of his Romnesia.
Otherwise, Mitt will try to set a new record for the number of lies told in the least amount of time.
Who am I kidding. Mitt's case of Romnesia is too severe to cure.
Wish Romnesia weren't so contagious.

(5,342 posts)"Ever since FDR we've had the capacity to be engaged in two conflicts at once, and he's said no, we're going to cut that back to only one conflict," the GOP presidential nominee said of his rival.
Says the man who spent his tour in Vietnam in Da Nice province and his wife thinks a Mormon Man's year abroad equals a tour in War.
PS This quote is from the day after the Libya attack.

(24 posts)Re;" Vietnam Da Nice" What world does Mitt live in where he can make correlations like this! It is unbelievable the lengths he is going to to try to make him look like an everyday "normal" human being having virtually no transparency when it comes to his church, even fabricating scenarios to make himself look as though he has been of service to our country. Mitt as well as the rest of the GOP think that war "is" the way to get the country back on its feet, how backward can you get. OH YA, Bush is the perfect example of where that philosophy gets us. Just look back 4 years!
Please help try to get this out there, maybe it could do some good in these last precious days!

(4 posts)Something I never see these days. In 2009 President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to rid the world of loose nuclear material. Thats Presidential. Romney would sell the material on the world market just to make a profit.

(13,776 posts)Thanks for the reminder!
I thought the Nobel committee gave it to him on the basis of what they expected to see in the future from him.

I also think he was a little embarrassed for having won it before actually doing anything concrete, which is maybe why he doesn't mention it.
But yeah, I don't see Mitt getting any Nobel Prizes for, basically, being himself like Obama did.
Again, welcome!

(2,088 posts)Granted, the Obama admisitration did the politically practical thing. Whether it was the right thing remains to be seen, but there was hardly a different option for the administratation. It was a damned if you do, damned if you don't kind of thing. Romney on the other hand is engaging in opportunism. Had Obama decided to stay out of it, Romney would be hammering him on that.

(115 posts)Romney strategy, continue to talk about Benghazi to muddy waters and steer the conversation away from him not being able to be specific. But to also sound like he has the same thoughts as Obama.
The Presidents challenge is to put Benghazi to bed for good and show Romney has no real policy except the neocon war mongers that advise him.
Get at this Mr. President shut this down being presidential but forceful with knowledge Romney lacks.

In this administration and Obama Watch Bin Laden was eradicated. What happened in Libya at our Embassy was that our ambassador was murdered by our enemies.
The GOP have done very little to secure a safer World and Mr Romney and Mr Ryan have no really foreign policy experience.
Stop this charade of Presidential attacks now.
