I only regret my Irish American career military Dad is not alive to see this speech.

Biden's Irish family is from a village in Ireland very near the village where my grandparents were born and raised. So I know the situation. Handsome, charming, affable types. But never get into a bar fight with them. You will deeply regret it.

Just stop. It's clear that such a choice of words is meant to convey the impression that Biden is out of touch, or lazy, or doesn't are, or that he's weak and uninformed. It's a smear that plays right into the right's "Sleepy-Joe" bullshit. People who do and say such things need to stop. It serves no good purpose. Biden has always been very clear in his positions and views on the matters at hand. He's also been very dignified and presidential in his demeanor and in his words. It's not his job to "slam" anyone or to sink to the levels of insults and name-calling. He's managed remain dignified and above the fray. Things like that are best left in the hands of professional pundits and other AMATEUR youtube "activists".

I too have wondered why President Biden waited so long to make a demonstrative statement against the Orange one’s shenanigans. I found it quite frustrating.

I don’t always agree with the administration and their decisions. And, I often have questions about White House priorities. I will express these opinions as I please.

I can assure you that I did not respond positively to “Just Stop” when my parents said it, when my teachers said it, when preachers said it, and when cops said it. It’s something I like about myself.

I'm sure. My own children behaved the same way. Fortunately, they matured and grew out of it. But as they grew into adulthood, they became more thoughtful and respectful and circumspect in the things they say.

I too have wondered why President Biden waited so long to make a demonstrative statement against the Orange one’s shenanigans.
For one, he's got other more important thing to do. I'm sure it ranks LOW on his list of priorities to slam and insult Trump every other day just for the amusement and satisfaction of people such as yourself and the OP. If he were to do that then it would take up half of his day and it would certainly serve to diminish his role as President. There are enough professional pundits on TV and amateur "activists" on youtube to do that. Why should Biden get muddy doing that? To entertain you?

I will express these opinions as I please.
Oh, spare me. Nobody is suggesting that you do otherwise. However, I can assure you that these types of "opinions" are more easily disregarded and dismissed by reasonable people when the intent can be easily interpreted as being just another reason to shit on Biden or the administration.

Perhaps, trying to control the way other people express themselves isn't the best approach.
How deliciously ironic. I guess wanting to "control" what President Biden says is the exception, eh?

Have a nice day!

Elsewhere, you use what you have to work with.

Wonder how long it'll take for those who just can't resist to realize personal gratification should take a back seat to making sure they aren't living in a police state 5 years from now, wondering if they were fired or their license revoked because of their internet record. The whole five years? A lot more?

He was right on time.

Was he supposed to have spent the past 11.5 months constantly harping on this day? Giving the MF45 a bunch of time and attention?

Just because MF45 lives rent free in the heads of a lot of Democratic Party Members - doesn't mean he HAS to live rent free in Biden's head.

I'm sick of amateur hot-headed youtubers who think they know it all. I guess these monetized channels thrive on the views (as well as negative and positive comments) whenever they shit on the Biden administration. Clearly this youtuber is in it for the money... just LOOK at how cluttered the channel is with trying to sell merch, and books, and trying to get patreon donors. It's pretty pathetic that any youtuber needs to go to such obvious lengths.

But, in contrast... take a look at Brian Tyler Cohen's youtube channel. He's a well-respected liberal (who doesn't think it's a good idea to shit on Biden). What's amusing to me is that this youtuber and BTC started their youtube channels at the SAME TIME.

However, BTC has over 1.27 MILLION subscribers subscribers to HIS channel... while this youtuber has a measly 22.1 THOUSAND subscribers. (That's over 57 times more subscribers.)

. . . what I really wanted and needed to hear was not just a tough-sounding speech. I really wanted to hear some plan of action to try to counter what is going on in one Republican-controlled state house after another!
