Sweden sends troops to Baltic island as Russian navy steps up presence

This made me go oh-oh!! Putin might be planning bigger military action than just Ukraine. What does Sweden know about the real situation? Sweden is not a member of NATO, so no article 5 commitment. A Russian invasion of Gotland, the island in question, would give Russia control of the northern part of the Baltic Sea. This would isolate from the Baltic Sea, in whole or in part, Sweden, Finland, Poland and the three Baltic states.
