Exchange with a racist who thinks he isn't as he slams The 1619 Project & hates Voting Rights bills

I received an email from an acquaintance of a friend. He started an email conversation showing his displeasure with the Voting Rights bill. The email thread then evolved into disdain for the 1619 project and much more. His thought process was transparent. I include the exchange anonymously and would love your feedback. I have corrected grammatical errors that both of us made during the conversation.

I myself could not have endured the unending, same old, invalidated, and debunked arguments that they present again and again whenever you try to engage in civil discourse with them. At some point, I would have kindly asked him to walk off the nearest bridge. I pray that some of what you tried to teach him took seed. It only takes a moment of doubt to crack the foundation of erroneous thinking. Keep up the good work!
