They still have a 6/3 court (in a country that is nowhere near that right-leaning) Well see they probably will be obstructionist just for the hell of it but feels like it might benefit them to take a pass on this. 🤷🏻?♀️

(26,727 posts)They'll probably make some noise and ask difficult-sounding questions at the confirmation hearings, but that's just to make sure that their base in November knows that they're fighting.

(26,727 posts)The most frequently speculated judge was just confirmed about a year ago with 53 votes. The three republicans could make some noise about one year not being enough experience for the promotion, but I don't see either Manchin/Sinema changing their support.
But if it's someone else? Who knows?
