If it had just come out that Romney made $374,000 in speaking fees in one year, there would have been a little chatter but not a lot. But for Mitt to say that he earned some money in speaking fees, but it wasn't much - that is a problem. This will dog him right into the general election unless he can find a way to own up to it. But I really don't see how he does that at this point. He just has to hope that he can get everyone talking about something else.
