Where are all the cars lining up for gas?
I live in south Florida and the gas stations usually, only have a couple of cars at a time fueling up.

(453 posts)3. I saw something earlier about the prices
Average gas tax price in the US combined sate and fed taxes is 55 cents a gallon. Profits made by the oil companies is like 59-65 cents a gallon. So they are making about 15 %, the gas taxes are about 12%. Both of these numbers are based on the first quarter of the year, what the gas companies posted for profits and what the states and fed gov collected in taxes. I would assume the profits are similar % for the gas companies even at 2 bucks a gallon, but the gas taxes dont change it just per gallon.
