And I remember George Cariin admitted that, think he was on with Bill Maher back in the day, and they came down on him for that admission, but obviously George Carlin had long made up his mind. Too bad, since he had a lot of influence and could have persuaded others to vote for worthy candidates.

6. I remembered this appearance on Olbermann about a year before Carlin's death.

It's hard to believe how long ago that was now; Carlin here discusses the "W" administration, which seems almost quaint compared with the vulgar criminality of the Drumpf regime.

And he was right about so much! "Have we gotten there? Mencken predicted that eventually we'd elect the dumbest guy in America. Are we someday going to elect a satirical president? A guy who really has no intention of doing it, doing it as a sales tool for something else?" Yikes, we sure could have used Carlin's take on the past 5+ years! Great interview!
