the guy in the car? How many lives, including hers would've been ruined?
But she did a good job of ruining hers. To jail and good luck after getting out with getting a job as who wants to hire such a loose cannon who blasts away at a moving car in broad daylight with cameras everywhere.
Can't get much stupider than that.

(53,765 posts)she blasts away at a moving vehicle without any regard to where the bullets end up.
And if by a very small chance she killed someone it the car, what then? To jail for murder. Really? And what would she have accomplished but ruining several lives, including hers.
Get her and her extremely poor judgment off the street asap.

(5,382 posts)is just someone who hasn't done anything stupid with a gun yet.
But it's only a matter of time, right?

(3,196 posts)The reality is quite the opposite, yet I've many times seen the quote used to justify unlimited gun ownership rights, and it's always misleadingly attributed to Robert Heinlein. Yes, he wrote the words, but they were the words of a character in Heinlein's Beyond This Horizon, a science fiction novel. The sentiment is used as an appeal to authority, a logical fallacy: If a great intellect such as Heinlein said it, it must be correct, right? The gun-loving cynics have gotten their wish.

(5,382 posts)Oh, got your window up?
Maybe a few gunshots instead of a 'roar'?
But a naughty person hurt her feelings, only natural . . . America, and all that.
Texas, yep, nothing to see here!
Amazing how many cars turn up at workshops with 'something wrong with my car' for the guys in the workshop to find bullet holes in all the wrong places.
Apparently guns don't just make loud, scary noises. Who knew?
