Repugs have long said that it's not the government's job to help people in need.

Now, the basic function to serve and protect is out of bounds.

Apparently it depends on where the urgent problem is - and the demographics of the citizens affected.

And I love my Louisiana neighbors, too. The low bar for us being #48 in everything is set at “thank God for Mississippi”.

The state government is republican dominated and they refuse to help Jackson!
The water issues have gone on for years. It includes constantly failing purification systems and they still have lead pipes
If the right wants an example of systemic racism then search no more. What is going on in Jackson is crystle clear.
Want another example check out the failing school systems in Philadelphia and Reading Pa.
