(38,320 posts)The carpeting and the scattering are not the point. The documents are the point. Somebody tell that lawyer.

(21,916 posts)At one point, Trump complains that the FBI searched his home and surmises that they scattered the documents messily on the floor to take the now infamous picture. He says they did this in the home of a "former president."
Two things.
1. He admitted that he's a former president and therefore he did not win the 2020 election. It's probably the closest thing to a concession that we'll ever get out of him.
2. He didn't deny that he had the documents! He was upset that they made it look like his office is a mess. He's not contesting that he had the documents which was illegal.
What an idiot.

(336 posts)no normal people thought what tfg suggests. Whats wrong with this asshole? I'm sure that my thoughts were consistant with most other peoples thoughts. We all know the DOJ, is responsible for spreading out those documents. Its to see the most docs in smallest space. WTF?

(286 posts)If you want a peek at the alternative reality inhabited by Trump acolytes head on over to Breitbart or Gateway Pundit. These people absolutely are upset that the documents were scattered on the floor and that "the FBI broke the law by photographing the documents". If it is pointed out that they didn't photograph the documents themselves, but cover sheets, the argument changes to "How do we even know if those are classified documents?" and "The FBI planted those documents."
There is no limit to the stupidity of these people. Trump knows it, too. After all he said it best "I like the poorly educated."
