I'm inclined to believe that the man has been a 'shock jock' con and grifter - from the very beginning. Utterly and completely unconcerned with truth.

Glen Beck and Howard Stern grew up wanting to be on radio. I think Alex Jones did too. Beck was in really early - 15 years old?

Stay on the air. No dead air. Those are the keys as I understand it.

After 9/11, hate radio (Limbaugh, Hannity, et al) was filled with revenge with all asking “Why do they (Muslim world) hate us?”

(And their answer to their own question was: “The hate us for our freedumbs!”)

On a directive from Rumsfeld, the Defense Science Board was tasked to find that answer. And the board’s answer was they DON’T hate us for our “Freedumbs,” but for our POLICIES.

And specifically, our absolute, one sided, position - on Israel. On every political issue, we side with Israel; in Israel, in the UN, in Congress, and in our media. And AIPAC is proof of that.

(A secondary issue was American culture overwhelming theirs.)
