The advantage of having him as an ex-president, is that he's now being 'guarded' by Secret Service agents. No more gang of mafia thugs roughing people up on Trump's behalf. No more Keith 'Sluggo' Schiller kicking in the door to Trump's doctor's office, and rifling through his records to (illegally) confiscate Trump's actual medical records. No...the Secret Service actually has to keep an official RECORD of where they're going, and what they're doing. Assuming they don't just 'happen' to delete their records again.
