It's strange that these self empowered nations still look to the British monarchy.

You know, Queen Elizabeth seemed to give the British monarchy a kinder, more gentle look.

King Charles on the other hand is a bit off putting. The sweet old lady that was the queen, gave these feudal remains a comforting, safe look. Not so much Charles.

The British monarchy has a totally different feel to it now.

with people going hungry, and new millionaire dictators ruling them. It happens 95% of the time.

I understand this is not popular thinking at DU, but it has happened over and over. Just look at the countries in Africa that used to be Portuguese colonies as an example.

a new approach is taken with just reparations paid a different result will happen.

And you're right, your take on blaming the victimized is not popular here.
