Related: About this forumGeorgia DA Willis says prison likely for election criminals; Meadows is subpoenaed by DOJ/grand jury
Two legal developments have us inching toward justice . . . ever so slowly. Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis says her investigation of Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani and others for violations of Georgia state election laws is uncovering evidence of "serious crimes" and that her investigation is likely to lead to "prison sentences," according to an interview DA Willis gave to the Washington Post.
In another legal development, CNN reported that Mark Meadows received and complied with a federal grand jury subpoena, making him the highest ranking Trump administration office who has received a federal subpoena. But curiously, the reporting is that the federal prosecutors only subpoenaed the same documents (text messages, emails, etc.) that Meadows previously provided to the House January 6 select committee. This video explores the possible evidentiary reasons the Department of Justice would subpoena directly form Meadows what it simply could have obtained from Congress. - Glenn Kirschner - 09/15/2022.

OP
meadows is a very big fish. May have been on the DOJ hook, cooperating for awhile.

I remember that he gave materials to the J6 Committee, then backed out of testifying

If he's been cooperating now, that could be the subject of the next hearing - with DOJ paying close attention.
