Really depressing to witness the cruelty inflicted on humans by humans, and the inability to act to stop it early on, especially here in the US … and now fearing that it’s happening again

And part 2 is on Tuesday - checked and there are three parts. I learned a lot, too - but it was also tough to see since we know the history. And this documentary let us know about individual people. Plus, Ken Burns is going to be on with Stephen Colbert tomorrow night - and I always post "political" guests.

Since we know the history of what happened - and seeing the people, especially children, made you desperately wish for a different outcome. But I may tune in again tomorrow and will certainly watch parts two and three. Also, Ken Burns is on with Stephen Colbert tomorrow and I'm looking forward to that - great guest!

Well, as soon as they renew my Passport (which they failed to do when I renewed my member ship and I just found out) I"ll be streaming it.

Thanks for the reminder.

Incidentally, there is a Holocaust survivor/volunteer with the National Holocaust Museum who will turn 100 on I thnink the 25th. They are putting together birthday greetings for him. David Bayer is his name, and here;s the link -

I recorded it and look forward to viewing it. I know it will be difficult but what history isn't?

He was a member of the troops who liberated the camps. I was in my 40s before he ever spoke about it and I could see it profoundly marked him. He went into detail about what he saw and it still haunted him after over 45 years. His words still haunt me.
