You chose Caribou Barbie is be just a heartbeat away from the Presidency. Sure, Johnnie Boy, we're listening with bated breath to every word that spits out of your mouth...

Wait, wipe some of that drool off, it doesn't look presidential for your photo op. But then, neither do you...

He reminds me of the old man who lived a few doors down from my family when I was growing up. He was a cantankerous guy--always yelling at us for playing outside too loudly, riding out bikes up and down the street too much etc. We finally realized he had lost it when he showed up at our doorstep one day to tell my mom we had been blowing bubbles while standing on top of his car (which we didn't do and also his car was NEVER out front) AND THEN--he scolds my mom for letting us color ourselves pink. Yep--McCain reminds me of that guy.

It's not that he's old, it's that he's an asshole with bad judgment.

The guy who picked Palin as a running mate should recuse himself from ANY choices for national service, simply because he doesn't have the good sense to make a decent pick.

And he's demonstrated that.

Recently, too.

Nor should it be acceptable on a forum like this. Regardless of whether it is about a bitter scoundrel like John McCain.

It's not McCain's age that's in question here.

There's getting older and then there's John McCain. Lots of older people are not bitter vengeful assholes.

Being old is cool. Every birthday I laugh at the grim reaper, enjoy my life more than ever.

For some reason, McCain is not happy or else this is a pathetic game. When I see people with all their material wants taken care of, a bit of family and friends, I see blessings.

Johnnie could go home and be happy. Instead he hangs on and lies about stuff. When Obama finishes his tour of duty, I envision him as enjoying himself on the beach in Hawaii. He'll deserve it.

Then when Congress's session is up in two years, reappoint them. It would be even better if the Dems win control of the House of Reps which is unlikely but possible.

That's the best way to get past these blockades and piss the righties off.

How sad. This old, bitter, cranky man should have retired from office years ago. But instead he is just becoming an embarrassment in his old age. How ironic that this man who has been sucking on the government's tit all his life would be part of the party that is anti-government.
