my brother has a pet crusade w them. they have it fixed so that military training does not translate to civilian certification for the exact same job.
just to make them take out loans.
my nephew joined the army to train as a medic, cuz he wanted to be an rn. did his hitch, did a tour in afghanistan, was a surgical nurse at reed. got home and found out he had to start at square 1 to get that rn.
couldnt even work as an emt.

my bro was a 1 man campaign to fix that in cali at least. got a state rep to put up a bill. got it passed.
then the guy got targeted, defeated, and the BILL WAS REPEALED.
