He really was very nice, answered audience questions before the show. And one lady sitting near me asked him about the notes he uses - and he remembered, gave them to her after the show!

I'm wondering if he'd have the patience, he is a comedian, but then so is Al Franken and I think he did a stellar job.

I got to see him when he came to my area (Albany, NY) and he was excellent. He spoke for almost two hours before a sold out crowd using only a microphone, a stool and three glasses of water. He talked a bit about his SNL days, but mostly about his time in the Senate, told jokes (Ted Cruz), did impersonations (McConnell) and said that while they were waiting, Dianne Feinstein would ask him to tell a joke and not everybody would get them! He also drew one of his U.S. states maps and offered to sign it and contribute it to a local Democratic charity. He got a standing ovation at the end...
