I know! I hate that they wait till people die to honor them. Patriarchy being reactive, vs proactive I guess.
I really wish soneobe would name something big after Pres Carter while he is still with us!

Jimmy Carter, like John Lewis, deserves to be honored in his lifetime.

That when President Carter went into hospice all the well deserved tributes came out on legitimate TV news. As if he had died. Good on them.
Kinda on topic. Why do TV Stations and print publications pay tribute to those who died this year before the year is over? Every year.
