(51,550 posts)That email from her source told her everything she needed to know, namely that her source was a lunatic who talked to the wind. Yet she cut that part out of her reporting, only mentioning a relatively minor part of the immense insanity in that email, namely the voting machines switching votes stuff.
Bartiromo knew her source was a loon. She aired key pieces of her nuttery anyway, and cut out the rest to HIDE her source's lunacy. She did it for the ratings. And then shamelessly said she believed her when deposed about it.

(205,161 posts)And distorting the truth to the point of outright lying is accepted policy. And since they were all doing it, it became "company policy." The Groupthink became contagious and since they got the results they wanted, nobody thought it was "wrong."
