Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the private Russian army Wagner Group, says he and his fighters have been pleading for more ammunition, but they have been "cut off" by Putin.

Only a few weeks ago there was mention of Prigozhin as a likely successor to Putin. Apparently Vlad got wind of the rumor, realized that Prigozhin was potential threat, and threw him under the bus.

Prigozhin roared too loud. The Wagner Group is the only effective military in Russia. They operate ruthlessly in the Ukraine and in Africa. With the Wagner Group weakened, many will breathe easier.

Canceling weapons for Wagner weakens Putin as commander of the armed forces.
