U.S. downs drone into Black Sea after incident with Russian fighter jet - MSNBC Reports
U.S. military officials forced an American drone down into the Black Sea after its propeller was damaged in an incident involving a Russian fighter jet. NBC News’ Courtney Kube reports on what led up to the crash and the status of the Russian aircraft. - Aired on 03/14/2023.

We visited and stayed in Sochi (a resort on the Black Sea and the site of a more recent Olympics) when we visited our "sister town" high in the Caucasus Mountains. Sochi was the closest place to stay at the time. And though I didn't take a dip, two of the male senior citizens in our group did! 
After I got back, my friend who was teaching third grade used to ask me to come and speak when the class was studying Russia (what must they be learning today?!) and one little kid asked me why it's called the Black Sea - I didn't know, but made it a point to find out for him. It's called the Black Sea because in the winter it appears to be completely black - which must be the way it looks now! We were there in early September.
He expected to conquer Ukraine in three days and now it's been over a year - and the U.S. has been a major help. Just hoping that he isn't unhinged enough to strike back at the U.S.
And if you read my post above, I've been to the Black Sea. It's a popular resort in the summer, we saw lots of tourists in early September, but it's black and foreboding in the winter.
