TYT: Ed Asner's Anti 'Trickle Down' Video - Fox News Fury .

"An animated video, narrated by actor Ed Asner, from the California Federation of Teachers recently caused controversy for a scene where a wealthy man urinates on poor people.

Fox News host Sean Hannity sent one of his 'Hannity' producers to interview Asner about the video, but not before introducing Asner as a "radical left-wing Hollywood actor," reports Mediaite.com.

Asner said: "I don't remember a thing I said on it or a word I said on it, but I agreed to do it for California teachers. I approve this message."

The 'Hannity' producer said: "There's a part of it where it talks about things trickling down and they have rich people peeing on poor people."

Asner replied: "How disgusting. It should be reversed."

The 'Hannity' producer asked: "So you don't remember that?"

Asner answered: "Do you have any money? Can I p*ss on you?"*

Ed Asner voiced over a cartoon showing trickle-down theory (with the rich peeing on the poor) and commented back to a "Hannity" producer who tried to confront him on it. Fox News' hosts Sean Hannity and Michelle Malkin reacted in typical fashion, calling him a thug in faux-outrage. Cenk Uygur breaks down how poor Sean Hannity is being intimidated by a big mean thug.

And sadly it appears that both Asner and then Cenk fell for it.

The original video does not show rich people 'peeing' on poor people. At about the 2:50 mark on the original, when they were explaining the trickle down concept, there is no 'yellow stream'. There is a brief (like 1 or 2 seconds) whooshing water type sound, but the visual 'stream' is not there.

Check it out yourselves. This video, which had already gone viral, was posted on Dec. 5th by another DUer. I watched it twice before seeing the clip in this thread. I had not remembered the 'yellow stream' so I went back and watched the Dec. 5th video again. Nope, wasn't there.

Here is a link to member Thomm2Thumbs December 5th video. Skip ahead to about the 2:50 mark.

is an attempt to discredit us on the left, along with The California Teachers Federation who produced it, by adding the bogus visual.

While we liberals may have long ago grasped the fact that 'Trickle Down' economics is a disgusting 'pi$$ing on the poor' form of public policy, many of us would object to an educational video actually showing it literally... Not because we would be offended, but because the audience we are trying to reach might be.

ETA: Implying it is enough to get the point across, which is what the original version did.

There also another video on You Tube that same day with some goon explaining what this cartoon really meant and how everything it stood for was a pack of lies radicals from the left made up. It's good to know it's back, but I do not remember anyone peeing on anyone else in that cartoon. I would have noticed that.
