Crazy business owner is threatening to fire the first bullet if Obama uses executive priledge.

I saw this first on FB but it was taken down. I think someone got a hold of it and put it back up or he edited it and put it back up, (was said on one of the comments). Either way I think it is a viable threat.

3. 18 USC § 2385 - Advocating overthrow of Government
Thu Jan 10, 2013, 02:24 PM
Jan 2013

Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States or the government of any State, Territory, District or Possession thereof, or the government of any political subdivision therein, by force or violence...

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years...

I think that the above qualifies as 'Advocating overthrow of Government'. So lets throw his sorry ass in jail for 20 years.

10. this is hate speech
Thu Jan 10, 2013, 03:32 PM
Jan 2013

this is what you get when we have a channel devoted 100 % of the time to propaganda and hate speech. This is the legacy of Rupert Murdoch. I know many people who only watch and listen to Fox news. This is what they become. They are told every day these lies and threats and they live in constant fear. The problem is not the guns. You will never put that genie back in the bottle. The problem is hate speech. Its not the second amendment, its the first.

14. Freedom of speach
Thu Jan 10, 2013, 04:54 PM
Jan 2013

So you would like to curb freedom of speach?

The fact of the matter is that it is the availability of these weapons and the ammunition that is in fact the problem. The genie may be out of the bottle but there are ways of putting it back in over time. Freedom of speach does not cover issueing threats so there is no need to tamper with the first ammendmant. With regard to Fox, many other countries in the west have legislation that obligates the press to tell the truth.

In Canada, fox news is not allowed to be broadcast on public airwaves and has to be purchased as a stand alone service because Canada's Radio Act requires that "a licenser may not broadcast ... any false or misleading news." This provision has hindered Fox News and right-wing talk radio broadcasting in Canada. The U.S. had a similar law before Ronald Reagan abolished the "Fairness Doctrine" in 1987.

The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that the Rebublican's are the problem.

type of thing. You can't threaten the president and you can't threaten to overthrow the government.

11. What a Friging Tool
Thu Jan 10, 2013, 03:46 PM
Jan 2013

The President has the constitutional authority to issue executive orders which have the effect of law. They do it all the time and I'm not happy about some of them but it is their right. This ass hat needs to be curbed. Threatening to start killing people is NOT okay.

13. Weapons are making society complacent
Thu Jan 10, 2013, 04:33 PM
Jan 2013

This guy is typical of a whole group of morons that vote republican, support all of the establishments that are screwing them over but reserve the right to keep military grade weapons in case they might want to overthrow the government. They remain completely complacent and like sheep go along with every draconian measure that removes their rights ot privacy, freedom of speach and assembly so long as they can keep their guns. What they don't understand is that if a civil war were to start and they all united to form a guerrilla army to take on the establishment forces, they would be routed in a matter of weeks if not days and most of the casualties would be civilian.
