Which is why I guess it's pretty much "hidden from history"; i.e. pretty much ignored in favor of " I have a dream", etc.

"I have a dream"... pretty much speaks unthreateningly to a now different society ( in *most* respects*) and to a different, earlier era.

"Why I am opposed..." speaks to today; it is painful and embarrassing. Which is why we don't hear about it via MSM and our schools don't teach about it.
