TYT: Colleges Kill Religion, Push Liberal Agenda - Santorum

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum argued that the left uses colleges for 'indoctrination' of students while speaking at the First Baptist Church in Florida. Ana Kasparian and Cenk Uygur break it down.

has he ever been to a college? We have a chapel right on campus that John Paul II came to when he was in Chicago. I think every Illinois univerity has a Chapel on campus.

Rick Sanctimonious should teleport to the days of Jesus to correct Him.

He can tell Jesus that giving free food, free healthcare, living like a homeless hippie with drunks, prostitutes, beggars and tax collectors was going to present a danger to religion.

And he'd be right, since Jesus was the greatest threat to the kind of religion that the rightwing wants to impose on all the peoples of the Earth.

It's only bad for superstitious simpletons (like you, Rick) who believe fanciful tales handed down from pre-literate civilizations. And I use the term 'civilizations' loosely.

Face it Rick, there is a new way of thinking, where wisdom revealed to a selected few in dreams and visions has given way to real knowledge based on observation, experiment and demonstrable facts. It's called science and it is the way of the future (if the religionists don't kill us all first).

9. How strong are those religious convictions if they can be so easily undone anyway?

If they were worth anything, nothing could shake them. Eventually that student would have run into somebody with an open mind and would have been forced to suffer through another opinion.
