I second your opinion with this suggested minor correction: This jerk has already proved that he's a violent asshole. After all, pointing a gun at a person for any reason whatsoever is, by definition, a violent act. (And all guns should be considered loaded and treated as such, at all times, until proven otherwise: field-stripping, cleaning, etc.)

And to turn an assault rifle on your own daughter because she didn't get "perfect" grades?! My heart goes out to that girl.

God knows what other abuse she endured in that house before this came to light.

Charles Manson has eyes like that. My father, unfortunately, had eyes like that. He looks so much like my father, he could be his brother, though thankfully, my father was an only child. Except for the fact that I'm here and I'm a good person, it would have been better for the world if my father was never born. I think the same can be said for this poor girl. I hope she is able to find her way past him as I was past my father.
