Which is exactly what the GOTP doesn't want us to know!
In the first year of the recovery, 93 percent of all income gains went to the top 1 percent. In other words, the very rich had a bad 2009, but an incredible 2010. Their share of national income bounced back to 19.77 percent. So inequality is marching upward once again.
Yup, the GOTP says, let's blame the people at the bottom- many of whom spent 30 to 40 years paying into the system and whose meager investments, if any, were destroyed by Wall Street criminals.
Disgusting!

..and sadly, way too many "Centrist" Democrats are happy with that plan.

Keep including the SS trust fund as part of the general fund so they can keep their top marginal taxes and corporate taxes historically low;

and create confusion and fear that SS is going to go broke so they can privatize it for the Wall Street bankster cronies.
