The news of former future Vice President Sarah Palin's exit from Fox News has led to the inevitable media autopsy of Palin's career as a pop culture super-duper-star, but missing from the discussion is the irony that her demise offers a last gasp of relevance. As Republicans and Democrats pray they never have to vote on the most meaningful of President Obama's post-Newtown gun regulation proposals, they should look at Palin's trajectory when deciding what to do should such a vote ever be put before them. It's been a long road to the media grave for Sarah Palin, but it all started about two years ago, in the aftermath of another horrific mass shooting.

And, as long as there are ridiculously small minded citizens ready to suckle on that pig, Palin will always have the possibility of a minor and short lived return to the public eye ...

Anyone's time as the big dog is limited in any forum.
She will do just fine in the secondary conservative back patting circuit, and did well (personally) to walk away from his elected commitment to make a nice 3 year run as the queen diva of the brain rot movement.

(6,045 posts)With Palin's slide out of the spotlight...It just took a few years for the media coverage of her to show the nation just how incredibly DUMB Palin really is!
I knew she would be out of the picture by the time the 2012 election rolled around...Because in order for her to run for POTUS she would have to do countless interviews BY HERSELF & not with her baby sitter John McCain there by her side to protect her from the evil LIBRUL MEDIA & their GOTCHA questions...Like "What do you read?"
