Rachel Maddow- American Idiots: Who Is Really To Blame For Republican Election-Rigging Schemes?

One of the key ways that MSNBC has distinguished itself from the cable news competition has been the relentless effort, by many of the network's stars, to shine a light on Republican schemes to rig elections in their favor, and in defiance of the will of the People (as in We the People). The latest of these schemes, to allocate several states' electoral college votes by congressional district, has quickly graduated from MSNBC hobby-horse to national news story, but like their earlier, laudable coverage of Republican dirty tricks, MSNBC stalwarts like Rachel Maddow rarely drive home the most important lesson from this issue.

With your last sentence: "...MSNBC stalwarts like Rachel Maddow rarely drive home the most important lesson from this issue."

I expected another sentence or two telling us what the most important lesson is they are not driving home.

I've been trying to find another posting where she doesn't cut off right at the end, but so far no luck.

could have left the house for the day, like they did in Tx.(?) and hid out until the other Democrat returned. Maybe pulled a filibuster or some type of delaying tactic...IDK.

It's necessary - if no one is paying attention republicans will steal us blind in elections as they have been doing for decades!!!

Republicans can't win without cheating, fixing, purging and gerrymandering democratic votes - This is a Fact. - Their ideology is regressive, narrow-minded and is a party only for the rich and their corporations military industrial complex based between Oligarchy & fascism....This is an absolute FACT!!

There may be some repug representatives that do good things for their district, but it seems in the main they are in it for themselves. I know there are lots of books and articles that explain why people vote against their own interests, but I still don't get it.
