1. IF the party "leaders" repeat their congenital error of always moving rightward at every opportunity

in another misguided and fatal attempt to attract rethug cretins to the party, they will deserve to lose the minute gains they have recently made.

Only problem is - WE the people do not deserve that.

It can be reasonably argued that there really is no left in the party and the pols who masquerade as such do not have traditional Democratic values guiding their policies.
They have managed to screw up every opportunity to crush the right and kill the GOPsters - it cannot be by accident.

How many "last straws" can real Democrats stand before enough of us simply walk away from the party that ignores, abuses, and disrespects us at every turn?

2. What makes you think they'd mind losing ground to the "Rethug cretins"?

They still get paid. They still get all the perks and access to powerful corporate big wigs, and they still get to keep all the profits they've made in the past 30 years including their pension, Rolls Royce health care policies, and connections they've made in Congress while not having to give a good goddamn whether We the People live or die.

Not a bad gig if you can get it, right?

was Democrats not turning out and voting, which was particularly tragic being that 2010 was a US Census year,
and the lack of turnout allowed the GOP to gerrymander the Congressional districts in their favor.

With Reid refusing to reform the Senate filibuster rules, we're going to be suffering the effects of the 2010 Democratic failure to vote for a long time to come. We will be operating on the GOP agenda, and only passing legislation of assistance to the GOP for a long time to come.

6. What turned blue to red was the lack of motivation given by our Vichy-Dems to anyone who really

wanted to see a liberal/progressive agenda pursued.

They count on "you have no place else to go" as their only incentive to us to vote for them.
Not good enough. Not by a light year.

Insanity is voting for conservaDems and expecting liberal policies.
And then voting for more sell-outs and expecting them to change into Bernie Sanders or Alan Grayson.
And again voting for even more DINOs and hoping that a few crumbs are swept off the table onto the floor where we can obediently lap them up.

Once they have your vote, they have no reason to listen to you.

They have learned the lesson. It's time we did.
