But am I the only one looking at the thermometer and thinking about seven Maine Coons crawling in the bed at night?

It's still amazing synchronization. One on the left was climbing over his littermate some, but usually even half that many cats will have a go-getter somewhere in the mix and then all bets are off.

although about half of my cats go for the Red Dot. The others sit around saying, "Dude! There's nothing there."

It is amazing synchronization. I've tried to take a lot of foster family photos for a rescue, and it's like a whole crowd of Calvins (of Calvin & Hobbes). With kittens, I pretty much get blurs unless they're asleep. Then people want to see the pretty eyes.

I do miss the "Dear Kitten" commercials.

Two rescue cats in the house now. Planning a trans-Atlantic move later in the year or it would be more feline overlords.

One of my recent adopters specified a certain size so that she could go to France each year. I'm so jealous.

Thank you for rescuing!

I have 6 of my own (all from rescue, whether formally from an organization or "Hey, what's this cat doing on our porch?" I took a foster to his new home yesterday, and I have two sisters, fosters, lynx point Siamese, in my spare bedroom. One (cat, not bedroom) is due to have kittens any minute.

The cat count is low for me, but I'm trying to cut back because of age.

It's amazing how much stuff in the house you look at and decide you don't need to drag across the ocean. We could probably do a tiny house after we get through prioritizing.

And no thanks necessary for the rescuing. I have absolutely no doubt that I've gotten the better end of the deal every time. You know how that works.

I have had 2 Maine Coon cats; sure do miss them both. The kittens are real beauties. Thanks for the humor!
