Citroens have axles at the extreme ends of the frame. At least all that I've seen.

Note: little overhang in back, classic and iconic Citroen design.

On Edit: I'm guessing the 1939 Ford Deluxe convertible. The teardrop tail-lights, the trunk handle, the placement and size of the rumble-seat hatch, the curve of the fenders, the shape of the bumper, the fuel port and the other port... all match.
