I love their 37 minute version of the Oak Ridge Boys' Elvira. The "giddy up giddy up, ooh baba maw maw" blows me away.

(18,402 posts)Saw them years ago do a live soundtrack to the 1928 silent-movie classic Storm over Asia, by Pudovkin, which takes place in Mongolia, where fur trappers join the Soviets in repelling a British Invasion. At one point, when the capitalists are being excoriated, the band breaks into a Tuvan throat version of Pink Floyds Money. Extremely memorable, but couldnt find a video.
So here is Yat-Khas version of Black Magic Woman instead:

(16,994 posts)But I saw a concert by the Tibetan monks who were throat singing. It was amazing! Went to a work shop the next day. They had a translator so we got to ask questions. Possibly the happiest people I have ever met.

(4,266 posts)Ravana's theme from Final Fantasy 14 (an online game) pretty well matches. Probably chosen because the deep, vibrating voice kind of matches the insectoid god of war theme, but it actually does remind a lot of people of Mongolian Throat Singing.
The singing starts around 5:08, though it has a great waltz-like melody prior to that. Very appropriate for a dance with a master swordsman, I suppose.
If you like it, check out more! The game has a wonderful and varied soundtrack.
