had a stack of them under the bed. If and when my mother ever found us reading one she would get ahold of it and throw it away. She told us it was trash and nice little girls didn't read that trash.

We found them irresistably funny back then. I wish I still had some of those older ones, like from the 60s and 70s. Mort Drucker ..... Don Martin .... Sergio Aragones ..... Dave Berg ...... Al Jaffee ......they were masters! "The usual gang of idiots"! My kind of humor.
