Today I read a lovely hard-right piece telling the faithful to run to the most liberal baker they know, demand a NRA cake, and sue if they don't get it.
Cake is supposed to be a nice dessert. It's not so nice now that the hard right is using it as a wedge issue. So, no more cake for me.
There are plenty of other pastries to enjoy.

(4,429 posts)I might say, you know, I'm pretty left of center - do you really want me to do it? But if they said yes, I'd probably do it. I'm not super religious, either, but if a super religious group asked me - I think I could do it.
Now, if the Trump family asked? I might have to come down with the flu for the week and close up shop!

The baker gets paid, the cake gets eaten, open up for business the next day with money in the bank.
